This is Nina (there is another pic on another post of her more recently) This is when Matt and I first got her...she was so tiny. She was smaller than his sisters dog which is a minature pincher (who weights about 15 lbs) now she is almost 60lbs!

So im pretty sure this is my 28 blog so this is my last one!! I never know what to write about on this thing so im glad i wont have to do this anymore. Right now im just studing for my two finals that are on Wednesday...history and biology...probably the worse two to have on the same day. I suck at Bio and i suck at History.
I am probably going to post some more pictures just to make sure i have enough posts...
Are all the blogs from just my english class (1320 MWF 9-9:50) that are on the list to comment on?? i swear there seems like so many on there and we dont have that many people in our class. Sorry if i commented on someone from a different class, im not creeping or anything it was just on the list of peoples to comment on....

So finals start this week...im so not prepared for any of them. I just keep thinking about summer and how i cant wait to be done with school! This summer probably wont be too exciting though. i am taking 13 hours at TCC and trying to work a full time job...
I have two finals on Wednesday, one thursday, one friday, and one next tuesday...this is going to be a very long week. Also all of my finals except two of them are a 8 am. that is going to suck cause i cant even review before my tests...wish me luck

this is me and Matt in padre over spring break. we were sitting around the hot tub at our hotel.

last week me and three of my friends went to the river. it was so much fun. finally the weather was warm enough to float down and get a tan. it was the first time they had been to the comal river so they had a lot of fun going down the shoots.
i got a great tan and had a ton of fun. i cant wait for next year when i can buy my own tube and actually have a place to store it instead of craming it into my already way too small room. Matt will be here next year too so he will enjoy the river with me.

My boyfriend is here at school with me this week. i am so excited to get to show him around my school. finals week is coming up and im super stressed i have so much work to do for it but hopefully having matt around he can help me get prepared.
this past weekend i went to SFA to see matt and we had a lot of fun hanging out with his friends there. then on sunday we drove back here to san marcos.

on saturday, i went gambling. we went to windstar in OK (which is only like an hour and half from where i live so it was not a bad drive). i was losing a ton at first on the slots, it was so frustrating! My friend chad, had one dollar left and stuck it into some machine called like triple diamond sevens or something, hit max bet, and won $62 at once! i was freaking out so i went to the same machine next to him an stuck a dollar in...$82 just like that! i was so happy. i won about $20 more and called it quits. i ended up breaking even.
then i decided to play blackjack. (i dont know how to play but i figured id learn as we went...so wrong!) i lost $20 in two hands and just had to walk away. I didnt know how to play and that was obvious cause i lost so fast.

This past Friday was my birthday! I turned 19. All my friends and I went to eat at japanese palace (its habatchi style restuarant where they cook all your food right in front of you). It was so good. Then we all went back to my boyfriends house to celebrate. It was fun.
i didnt really get anything though for my birthday but then again i didnt ask for anything. I just was happy to see my parents and have all my friends together. I only got a check from my grandparents in the mail, which is always a good gift cause im a broke college kid.

like two weeks ago my mom got in a really bad accident. my friend called me and asked for my moms cell number. i thought that was pretty weird so i called home and asked what was going on and my dad told me what happened. my mom was on this one way street that had two lanes. there is a little shopping center on the left side where you can cut through to go the opposite direction. my mom was in the left lane and some guy in the right lane turned directly in front of her so he could cut through the shopping center to turn around and my mom hit the side of him. my mom already has a difficult time walking because she has a disease but it does not affect her ability in driving and she could not get out of the car cause she was hurt. someone from one of the stores came out with a wheelchair to help her out of the car. meanwhile, the dad of the boy that hit my mom shows up (before the cops get there) and they come up with a lie to blame my mom for the accident. the father told the cops that my mom was following to close behind his son and that he say the whole thing from his review mirror...the cops bought it! there is no possible way for the front of my moms car to be damaged and the side of his car to be damaged if she was too close behind! and a parent can not be a valid witness to an accident!
my mom was so upset cause if it were her fault she would take full credit for it but since it wasnt her fault and the lie was total bull it really was upsetting that the cops believed it. My mom got two cracked ribs and a major burn on her whole right arm as well as on face. my parents are taking this to court.

in the past three days i have only gotten nine hours of sleep i am so tired. i had so much due this week and so many tests its awful. it is only wednesday too. i can not wait till summer and all this shit is done with.
this year has gone by so fast but it feels like it is never going to end...

Spring Break

over spring break i went to south padre with my boyfriend and all of our friends ended up going down and crashing with us. it was a ton of fun! we went to coke-a-cola beach every day we were down there. there were so many people there from all over.
my friend went to jail while we were down there. that kinda sucked for her. we had to pay 300 dollars to bail her out and it took us from 6 at night till two in the morning to finally get her released. o well i would do anything for a friend cause i sure hope they would do the same for me.

im filling out an application for sfa for next year so i can go to school with matt. its so much work. i forgot how much i hated filling out these stupid application forms. and i have to contact the main office to send my transcript.
also i am filling out an application for an apartment next year so if i do stay at texas state i have someplace to live. it is wierd not knowing what i am going to be doing next year. i just have to be prepared for enything

i got my history test back and i get an 81. im so happy with that cause it was a hard test and i am awful at history. i also have a math test this thursday so i hope i do alright on that. i am pretty lucky because i only have one midterm test this week were like everyone else has a lot.

i just cant wait for this week to be over with so it will be spring break and we get a week off. it will be super relaxing and i need a break from all this school work.

over spring break i am going to south padre.im super excited. a whole group of my friends were supposed to go with me but all bailed except my boyfriend. We will still have fun though. our hotel is right on the ocean and has jet skiing and parasailing so i cant wait. its an eight hour drive though from home so im not looking forward to that.
since ill only be in padre for five days i will also get to see all my friends that are back in town for the break. their are some though that have different spring breaks so im kind of bummed i woont get to see them. o well.

i just took my blaw test and i felt so good on it. i thought i would for sure get a good grade on it. he had the answers posted on tracs once we got out of class and i failed it...
im pretty upset about that but o well i have too mush more i need to do this week to stay mad.

this week is going to be pretty busy. once i finish my second test today which is history i have to study for my blaw test tomorrow. i also have to do a ton of math homework and write a paper for english. on thursday it is my moms birthday so i have to get her something and on friday i am going home cause my aunt and uncle from ohio are coming in town.
i have no clue what to study for my blaw test tomorrow but it is open notes so hopefully i will be okay. my bio test this moring was so hard i am pretty sure i failed it. o well just have to work hard for the next test

this weekend i went to sfa to see matt. on my way there i got my first speeding ticket in austin. it was a motorcycle cop and my radar detector did not go off... i saw him after i passed him and he jumped on his motorcycle to come after me. i quickly took off my radar detector cause i heard if you have one, you are more likely to get a ticket. the first thing he said was do you have a radar. i was like no... he said he saw it on my dash board, i have no clue how since he was on the side of the road and i was in the far left lane (four lanes over with tons of cars in between us). I was like well i have one but i dont use it and he wrote me a ticket and wrote she has radar detector really big on it. i was signing for my ticket when he looked around my car and noticed my inspection sticker was out too. He pointed it out and i apologized saying im in college i do not drive much that i had no seen that it was out and that ass hole wrote me a second ticket. i was super mad!
on the other hand i did have a really fun weekend will matt and my friends. i have two tests today and one tomorrow so now i have a ton of work to do since i decided to go out of town. it is worth it though.

this weekend was pretty fun. on friday all of our friends went over to my boyfriends house. there was a lot more of our friends in town than i thought so it was a lot of fun with everyone back. then on saturday me and matt went to eat at our favorite place, tokyo cafe, for lunch. then we went to the mall cause neither one of us knew what to get eachother so we decided we would go shopping together and pick out what we want and then we got it for eachother. it was really fun. later we went to our friend katies house. she had a valentines day party. that was alright but some of the girls there were pissed cause their valentines day didnt work out as they had wanted. i just dont understand that its just a day like anyother except people expect too much for it. o well then today i drove back here and now just watching falure to launch.
this week i have so much to do. i have all these thing that i can do for extra credit which is obviously something i am going to do, its just so much work it sucks. i think i have a test this week im not really sure. im so tired of school already im just ready for spring break but it is only like one month till then..

My friend Angie has been making me run with her every night this week. I have not ran in so long im so outta shape but we have fun pushing eachother farther. im trying to lose some weight for spring break, im going to the ocean with some of my friends im pretty excited. I was worried i wasnt going to get to see Matt this weekend for valentines day but we are. I cant wait to see him.
i had a math test today, it was easy but kinda hard. i knew a lot but there were some i completely forgot how to do. i hope i did alright on that. tomorrow after english i am leaving to meet matt, so i have to pack up tonight. today has been pretty boring so far and it is only two, i hope the rest of the day goes by fast.

well this week is going by so slow. i feel like it has been a month and it is only Tuesday, so its only been like two days. today i went to the outlets, saw someone get busted for shop lifting. they seemed like pros i mean they brought wire clippers... who plans that far ahead to steal some cheap shirts and shoes. i have a math test thursday and im going to fail..
well im trying to think of what to get matt for valentines day but i have no clue.. i went to the polo outlet but they had nothing but the same old stuff and he has a lot of that so i didnt want to get him that so now i have no clue. i dont even know if ill get to see him this weekend. its kinda depressing.

Last weekend i went to SFA to visit my boyfriend and my friends, Michelle, Kelsey, and Kristen. On Friday we went to a frat party. It was a lot of fun to get to meet all of my friends friends and experience a different schools party. Two of our friends from back home we also there for the weekend. On Saturday, we went to see Notorious. It was alright. Then we went to our friend Travis's apartment till around 2, then went to another frat party. On sunday, we watched the superbowl. All the guys were going for the cardnals so I decided to go for the stealers just to go against them.
After the superbowl i was packed up ready to head back here to San Marcos and there was a huge thunderstorm. I wanted to wait till it passed till i left, but then it turned into a hail storm and lasted till one in the morning. I couldnt leave till Monday morning. It took me six hours to drive back because on these stupid country roads i kept getting stuck behind 18 weelers on a one lane highway and i couldnt pass them. it was annoying but i got back safely, just a little pissed off.

A little about me. My name is Brittney, im a freshman at Texas State University, i enjoy dancing, sleeping, and spending time with my friends and boyfriend. Matt is my boyfriend of two years but sadly we are five hours apart because we each chose to go to seperate colleges. It is easy though because we both make an effort to visit each other over the weekends, its a long drive but it is worth it.
This weekend i am driving to Nac to see Matt. Im excited but i have a long drive ahead of me. Im leaving right after english on friday. One time when i was driving down there i got pulled over for speeding. That was so annoying cause i was going 77 in a 70. I wasnt even going ten over the speed limit but no worries i didnt get a ticket. I hope i dont get pulled over tomorrow that would just piss me off. I got a radar for christmas i hope it works.

My dorm room sucks. It’s so small, community bath, all girls, far away from everything. I really want to get an apartment next year. Does anyone know if sophomores are allowed off campus living next year? I hope so. I really don't think I can stand another year in a dorm. My roommate is really nice but living in a four foot wide space of each other is just annoying. Well if we can live off campus, please let me know of any nice, available, close apartments please.



Anyways, on a none complaining note, I had a really fun weekend. I had to go home to get some things that I forgot but it was fun. I got to see my boyfriend of two years (we don’t go to the same school but we visit each other very often). We went to our friends apartment and got to see all of our long time friends. It was a fun, short weekend.
